Who we are

Three Dots Brands ("we", "us") is a digital marketing consultancy based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, operating the website iiibrands.com. We follow Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and, for visitors in Quebec, the Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (Law 25).

What we collect

• Your diagnostic answers. The marketing diagnostic runs in your browser. Your answers are not sent to us unless you choose to send them.
• Details you send us. If you send your diagnostic or email us, we receive your name, email address, optional company or website, your answers and the result.
• Analytics and ad measurement. Google's tag loads on our pages, but until you click "Accept" it sets no cookies and sends only anonymous, cookieless signals. If you accept, Google Analytics records pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type, how you use the site, and which ad or campaign brought you here. We never send your name or email address to Google, and we don't use your data for remarketing.
• Campaign details. If you arrive from one of our ads or campaigns, the campaign tags in the link (for example utm_source or an ad click ID) are kept for your visit and included with any diagnostic you send us, so we know which campaign helped.
• Technical logs. Like most websites, our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (such as IP address and browser) to keep the site secure and running.

How we use it

• To reply to you and discuss your marketing needs.
• To understand which content is useful and improve the website (analytics, with consent).
• To keep the website secure and prevent spam and abuse.

We don't sell or rent personal information, and we don't use it for advertising.

Service providers we use

• Our web host's email service sends you a copy of your diagnostic and delivers it to our inbox. If that system is ever unavailable, FormSubmit (formsubmit.co) delivers it instead.
• Google Analytics and Google Ads measure website usage and campaign performance, with cookies only after you consent.
• Google Fonts serves the typefaces on this site, which means your browser connects to Google's servers.
• Our web host and email provider store the website and our email.

Some of these providers may store or process information outside Canada, including in the United States, where it may be subject to local laws. We only share what each provider needs to do its job.

Cookies

We only use cookies for analytics and ad measurement, and only if you accept them.

You can change your mind at any time: open cookie settings. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a "no" to analytics.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries and diagnostic submissions for as long as needed to respond and for a reasonable period afterwards (generally no more than two years unless we work together). Analytics data is retained according to our Google Analytics settings.

Your choices and rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or withdraw your consent, by emailing hello@iiibrands.com. We'll respond within 30 days. If you're not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or, in Quebec, the Commission d'accès à l'information.

Security

The site is served only over encrypted HTTPS, uses strict browser security headers, and doesn't store personal information on our web server. No method of transmission is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect what you share with us.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
